9-Г досліджував пригоди Паддінгтона у форматі перевернутого уроку

Учні 9-Г класу спільно з учителем Світланою Масло провели нестандартний захід у форматі перевернутого уроку. Вони досліджували історію Паддінгтона – пояснювали, робили висновки та давати дружні рекомендації.

Учні працювали в парах і групах, обмінювалися думками та використовували чеклісти для зворотного зв’язку.

Today I had one of those lessons that reminds me why I love teaching.

To be honest, before the lesson I was probably more worried than my students. I wondered if the task would work and if they would feel confident explaining the story to someone else.

We explored the story of Paddington, and my students became real mediators – they explained the film to a “friend” who had never seen it. Instead of retelling the whole plot, they learned to summarise the story, simplify ideas and give friendly recommendations.

Students worked in pairs and groups, exchanged their messages, and used peer assessment checklists to give feedback. Many explanations were short but clear, focusing on the most important ideas – kindness, family and accepting differences.

The classroom atmosphere was lively and supportive. At the end I heard: “Thank you for the interesting lesson.” Their smiles are always the best feedback a teacher can receive.
